Unknowingly, its the month of August. Many things took place and much more things are going to take place. I have learnt to plan my schedule in advance, to as far as 3months ahead. Of course, it requires extensive management and strategy. Well, so far i have been doing fine. Upcoming months will be even more challening but i am all ready for it.

Perhaps i am thinking too much and believeing too much. However, the facts speak for themselves. How could i lie to myself? Anyway, i could only hope that all the medical reports will be fine.

I am planning for a backpack trip ( likely to taiwan) during end december for about 2 weeks. Its really about time that i escape from Singapore or rather army to take a break. Anyone with friends or relatives in taiwan? So i can get help from them for my trip?

well, i guess everyone is looking forward to tomorrow men's singles finals. will the king of clay surpass the champions of all times? time will tell.

on a side note, i wld like to thank all those who gave me a surprise bday. even though i didnt want to create a big whoo ha for my 21st, i still appreciate everthing that was done for me. thinking back, its quite a special bday as i have quite a few celebrations, ha!

the last 2 months has not been smooth sailing for me. i can confidently say that its the worst period throughout my 20 years so far. physically, mentally, psychologically i was stretched to my limits. although the case is not close yet, at least i am out of danger zone. sometimes, i will think `how come my ns life is so screw-up! am i that unfortunate? or is it that god wana put me through a test? nevertheless, i did what is useful for myself, to protect my own life. inevitably, my decision may have cause inconvenience or even troube for others directly or indirectly. but i have learnt the hard way that ` only the strongest survive and that one got to be ruthless to succeed' in the past, i always beg to differ perhaps due to the cosy surroundings i was brought up in. however, it will no longer be the case. come tmr is the start of march and hopefully it will be the turning point of my life!

as for the up coming week, its time to celebrate chinese new year! it has been more or less the same every year with the usual visiting of families and catching up with them. nevertheless, i always look forward to this festive season. its a time for joy and fun, isnt it? so coincident that cny falls on thu and fri, giving everyone a longer break this year. logically, wed will be a half day for everyone too isnt it? ha. anyway, thats not the main point. rather, one should take the chance to respect his elderly and cherish his loved ones if he hardly meets them throughout the year. never wait till its too late!

it come to my attention that many of my friends going 21 this year are organising a magnificient birthday party with lots of excitement and fun going on. perhaps its because reaching 21 welcomes one into the world of adulthood; endless freedom, no curfew or restrictions, opportunity to explore life etc...persnoally, i have nothing against this. its perfectly alright, or rather everyone shld not miss the opportunity to celebrate their 21st birthday as its only once in a life time only! however, from my point of view, i dont actually see the need to make a big whooha out of it. perhaps my life has been so boring and dead since i entered army which make me think this way. also having hundreds of friends gng 21 this year will be qutie taxing if i got to attend everyones'. but thats not the point, i will still try to make it if possible considering i am still in army. showing up at your friends 21st birthday could be a sign of affirming the strong friendship too. as for jan and feb itself, i have got at least 8 invitations, with clashes on the same day! i will see how i can make it then.

although january was a hectic and chaotic month, i still managed to squeeze time out for movies like ghost must be crazy, shaolin and the green hornet! the feeling was exactly the same last year! however, there was times when i was so tired that i spent the entire weekend sleeping. ops, thats after i promised ppl for other stuff. its entirely my fault and i am trying to improve on this area too. sometimes i dont wish to disappoint my friends when they ask me out despite feeling very tired and low. however in the end, i know i could not go if not i will fall sick. i am really sorry.

ok, thats all for now. looking forward to cny next week although i have not gotten any new clothings. maybe i dont intend too. but theres still a couple more days to go! ha.

its time to bid goodbye to 2010. its also time to do some reflection for the past 12 months. 2010 has been a year filled with activites, though challenging but enriching too!

on 5 feb 2010, i became part of SAF as a recruit in Ninga company on tekong island. i was glad that my family and friends went to send me off as a sign of support and encouragment. really appreaciate it, you ppl know who you are, ha. surviving 3 months in Ninga company wasnt comfortable and pleasant. if not for my bunk mates and platoon friends, i would not have found bmt a meaningful and memorable experience. till date, i have not forget my ninga bunk mates. hope we could meet up again soon. next phase in army was spend in pasir lebar camp, undergoing specialist cadets course. the duration for the basic course was about 2 months. unfortunately, that was about the time when i came to know about my ligament sprain. i could not participate in several exercies which i really wanted to as one could only try it out in army, in the scs specifically. nevertheless, i really persevered on despite all the scoldings and criticism. within a twinkling, i completed the foundation term. however, my pro term vocation turned out to be INFANTRY which is everyone's last and most hated choice. the difficulty level for pro term was up 5 folds and i really could not carry on anymore considering the injury i had. hence, the mo ooc-ed me during the 4th week. i spent the next one month helping out with admin work related to the taiwan trip that my friends will be heading to towards the end of course. next up, i was attached to cmpb(G1 army) for about 3 months assisting and supporting the saf from a different perspective. (unlike training schools and unit) it was more of mental challenge and adapting to the typical office environment where one goes to war with the computer( enemy) with his keyboard (weapon). i took awhile to get used to the environment, started to know more ppl and even met some secondary school friends there! however, i knew there will be a time when i have to leave. as expected, the posting order came and i was quite unwilling to leave my colleagues and friends from HQ Perscom. haiz, but since its an order, there was no way to go about twisting the rules. back i am now at pasir lebar camp, at swas school. in short, its a advanced school for specialist caterting to nsf, nsman and regulars who wish to become to warrant officers. for the past 3 months at swas, i have been a storeman, armskote man, and now helping out my asa. all these changes are due to my medical reason ( ligament injury), hence not able to carry out certain job scope. come 2011, i am still uncertain of my future in army. will i stil be in swas? will i get posted out? the list carries on... ...

moving on to the entertainment industry, 2010 has been a engaging year for me. in the past, i used to catch 1 or 2 concerts anually. however, this year alone i have watched 6 concerts. in january, there were david tao's `上太空说` followed up with ah mei's `阿密特'. in march was jam xiao's `洛克先生`. in may was show luo's `舞法舞天'. in july was jay chou's '跨时代`. in september was eason chen's `DUO` concert. considering all the merchandise that i have bought on top of the concert tickets, my pocket was quite badly burnt! but i really enjoyed every single concerts together with my friends and families who accompained me. oh yea, coming 5 march i will be going to lin jun jie ` I AM` concert at indoor stadium! also, i am expecting zhang xue you and jolin cai to stage their world tour singapore stop in 2011. hopefully i will be able to catch their concerts!

next up will be my family. i would like to sincerely thank my dad, mum, bro and sister for always being there for me during the last 12 months. there were several gloomy and miserable moments where i suddenly felt totally lost and wanted to give up. however, my bro will be talking to me over skype to understand my plight and solve the issue with me. also, sis will talk to me in my room and enlighten me. because of my brother and sister, i always told myself i cannot give up. they have always been my role models and my bench mark in life. although i arent successful as them, at least they encouraged me time and again. hence i will continue to strive on and not disappoint them. bro was back in singapore for 6 days before flying off to china. it has been his shortest stay in sg so far but at least my family get to see him. i would also like to thank my bro for one important sentence that help me with my driving test. ` its not how well you drive, but rather how safe the tp feels`, and this sentence constantly reminded me to drive in the appropriate manner to pass.

here comes 2 important question that i have to decide and make a decision before way before 2012. firstly, should i change course ? ( from mech eng to chemistry) i have been thinking about this question whenever i have time. but i have yet to come to a conclusion. perhaps if u are reading this and have some opinions about the courses mentioned above, feel free to talk to me. best if u are a student doing mech eng or chem, it will be good to speak to you personally, ha. secondly, shld i play tt in uni? if so i got to prepare from this moment onwards. simply because its just too difficult to get a spot in the team. considering players from 19 jcs and 5 polys vying for just 12 vacancies in a uni team? perhaps i am exaggerating but the competition is really intense at university level. but as of now, i am gradually playing tt more often. i have set certain mini goals such as taking part in open compeitions in 2010 and 2011 , representing my formation in army next year and hopefully my consituency in 2012. if all these goes on smoothly ( and successfully) , i guess i am on my way there.

not to forget my friends who have always been there for me too. i know who you are and you guys know who you are too. i just wish to say i treasure every friendship equally and all of you are equally important to me. if not for you all, life would been dull and gloomy. if i have offended or mistreat you guys in certain ways, please let me know. i will correct myself and be a better person in 2011.

last but not least, i wana thank everyone that walk through the past 365 days in 2010 with me. if not for you guys, i wont be where i am today. also, lets welcome 2011 with open arms and face the upcoming challenges!

hi all, am back!

when 8 april came, i pop-ed from tekong. throughout the 9 weeks on tekong island, in ninja coy, the journey was definitely not smooth sailing. there were so much to do, so much to learn, so much to understand within 9 weeks. all of us got to adjust ourselves within the first few days as the purpose of bmt is to transform boy into man. our sergeants came down really harsh on us during the first few weeks where many of us experienced a culture shock. despite all the shit we gone through, i got to know several buddies! if not for them, life will be worst in ninja. the highlight during the whole course in bmt will be the 6 day 5 night field camp where it was the deepest moment in life for me. 6d5n without showering, without brushing yr teeth etc. i really cannot image that i manage to go through field camp and survived. perhaps the moment where i cried most was during the point when sir timothy ng delivered us the precious letter written by our loved ones. never did i realise the magnificent power of the letter which encouraged me, manoeuvred me to carry on the tough journey and not to give up. thanks dad, mum and sis for yr support! next up will be is situational test. it was the next most difficult journey but still i managed to survive thanks to my basah( did i spell wrongly) buddies: victor and nicholas. although the 2 nights were squeezy but i guess it was the friendship and bonding that counts! ok, time is running short for me again, i got to rush out soon. the last major activity was 24 km road march before pop. i guess by then my whole section, or even the platoon were united and bonded. in short, there was nth that hindered our path to the parade square. of course, the journey was not an easy one. a hell lot of motivation, encouragement, singing, suaning were required that pushed us forward to the end point. till now, ninja will be missed.

shortly after, 16 april came. it was the posting day for the vocation. everyone was excited yet nervous. so was i. initally i was sad that i did not make it to ocs, really sad. but after knowing that many of my friends did not even make it to command school, i felt fortunate. as sir timothy said you cant chose in army, so just suck thumb. nevertheless, i will do my best regardless of my posting. ok, really gtg now, take care ppl!

actually i had no intention to blog, as weekends are usually set aside as recovery period from the accumulation of injuries from weekdays trainings and stuff. but the strong urge to blog arises after receiving yr sms. haiz, really wonder what on earth have i done wrong to get such treatment man. life in ninja coy is not making life any better for me and yet this have to pile up with all the shit man! so is it really my fault? is there something wrong with me? i really wana know. sis is away in italy, without her listening ear, who will share my sorrows and sadness. haiz, ok i better go take medication and zzz.

this will be the first post since i entered army 3 weeks back. come to think of it, 33.3% of bmt is completed with 6 more weeks to go before pop. btw, i am in ninja company but i am still surviving. ok, army aside, i have caught like 5 movies over the last 2 weekends which is something i have never done so much before. 14 blades, little big soldier, true legend, hot summer days and 72 tenants of prosperity are all worth watching, but still depends on personal preferences. as for this coming weekend, will be eyeing to watch being human. the advertisement is way too funny and filled with laughters for one to miss the movie. its abt 2 hours more to book in and theres still quite a bit of pack up to be done. ppl out there are speculating a lvl results to be released on 5 march, which is this coming fri. whatever it is, come what may!

ok, rushed off this morning to send off the army dudes enlisting today. but it kinda... ... so met nigel, junxi and xueli at tampiness for lunch and catch 14 Blades which is on screen TODAY! yea, its a movie worth watching but there were less than 20 people in the cinema just then. whats wrong man? or is it there isnt much advertisment for the movie? perhaps time will tell everything. so after movie, went to nigel's house to chill and yea am afraid of his cats. 5 of them roaming at his house is no joke to someone like me. stayed till abt 7, had a quick dinner and off i went. took pretty long, 1hr and 20 mins to get home and by then was dead tired. ok, i shall go zzz and get prepared for tmr enlistment!

just got home from singapore indoor stadium. this time round its zhang hui mei's concert. no, it should be Ah Me Te instead of ah mei. its my first time watching a female artiste performing a concert at ids for full 3 solid hours. in short, i am greatly impressed and stunned by her widely acclaimed vocals. i guess very few, or even anyone would disagree with me. this time round the companions were dad, wan xian, james and yuchuan at the balcony area. ok, am dead tired now, need to sleep, shall let the pictures do the rest of the work.

its been almost 5 solid months since i last met my brother. he has been in the states for his university education since august. by right, he shld be back mid of next yr but i guess he misses home so much that his coming back during his winter break. i guess i wld have lots to catch up with him and hopefully he brings back some christmas gifts, ha.

actually, i have lots to blog about regarding matters that surfaced during december, some problems i faced and the attitude of the current youngsters. sometimes i wonder if i am too sensitive or over reacting but come to think of it, i arent asking for too much at all. perhaps ppl have change, and influece the others to change too. in short, i am as disappointed as how david tao is with the current mando pop music industry. he mentioned that many new singers are just doing music for the sake of money which is very practical in the pragmatic society. however, the sole purpose of doing music is lost. the love, the peace are no longer existing in many songs from the new singer. its akin to a person just knowing how to cook french food and hence the consumer has no choice but to eat french food. i believe its not always up to the consumer to decide what the manufacturer has to produce. if the manufacturer is firm enough to cook delicious food together with love in it, the consumer will certainly love it too. in a nut shell, i feel that one shld adhere to certain basic principles in life and not follow the masses blindly just because everyone else is doing so.

actually i should not be blogging at this moment as i am under 闭关 period. of course its not for studying but physical training. the intensive curfew should end this sunday but theres something even more important that i have to blog about it right now. yesterday i spend about 6 hours in my friend's recording studio trying out his new recording equipments and singing our past music collections. but the main focus was on recording a song. initally i was confused between either song A or B. Both songs arent easy to deal with and contain different meanings within the lyrics. One of them is our ( me and yc) past product which we really like it, however it was written in 2006. Somehow, the 感觉 ( at least for me) seems to have fade off and i am quite upset about it. fortunately i got an answer to it. this morning, i came across a youtube clip about an interview with taiwan singer David Tao. the reporter was asking him about his latest genre of music from his latest ablum (69 乐章）and urging him to write k friendly songs such as 天天 etc. Like usual, david tao replied professionally saying that ` i have past the age to write those songs. besides the songs are the feelings in the past. since its impossible to turn the clock back, its very difficult to write such similar songs again`. thus, i chose the other song and its really not an easy task to deal with it! we spend abt 1.5 hours just for that song but its not done yet. But still, a big thank you to yc for helping me with all the music adjustment, thanks dude. right now, i have less than about 30 hours before heading back to yc's studio and carry on with the recording. hopefully, i will understand the song better and complete the task.

its countdown to prom night! actually i didnt prepare much. basically its a mix and match till i get the ideal outfit. this time round, i chose formal attire and hopefully it will be presentable. ok, checklist: attire ( blazer, long sleeve shirt, belt, pants,), 5pm haircut appointment settled, 6pm meet classmates at far east and collect tickets. ok, thats all for prom and cant wait to see my other school mates.

wow, i cant believe i just spend 3 full solid hours waiting for david tao at orchard central today! it has been almost one yr since i met the superstar and his back again. this time his in sg to promote his new album and also his upcoming ` DT in space, the talk and rock show` which will be held in singapore indoor stadium on 8 jan 2010. as usual, yuchuan and i met up for lunch before gng to orchard central. but we were taken aback upon reaching there cause it was very EMPTY. there wasnt any single of dt's fanz around at all. nevertheless, we waited `patiently` for 3 damn hours. yes, 3 hrs. but the atmosphere and mood took a 360 degree change once dt came on stage. as expected, dt is always very open about his ideas and opinions regarding the current music industry. also due to his friendly nature, i was attracted to him. ha. ok. time is tight and i gtg practise some phy mcq for the final paper on monday. till then, see ya

Its has been sometime since the last post. firstly, would like to clarify that the last post should be dated during oct and not sep. anyway, i managed to survive the fist week of A level which is actually the most hectic week for me as i have examinations everyday stretching to 3 hours daily. till now, about half the examination is completed leaving phy and chem ( p1, p2). haiz, i am really disappointed with my performance for 2 papers over the week but theres nothing much i can do now. think i better spend my time well revising for the next 3 weeks before all is over.

Not to forget, i manage to order ah mei ` amit first world tour` concert tickets on 29 jan 2009. looks like ah mei will be the first female artiste concert that i will be attending as i used to go for male singers concert. have always been looking forward to her concert since several years back. this time round am gng with several friends and hopefully we will have a great time.

Oh yea, i got an ultra short haircut before a level and its the shortest ever in my jc life. lol, i cant believe that i actually let the hairstylist do as. but for the sake of a levels, its worthwhile i guess. ok, i got to go take a nap and replenish myself for the next week fews. till then, see ya

its been quite some time since the last post. have been surviving well over the last few months and perhaps ok only for the last few weeks. indeed time have change. a change where the environment i am experiencing now is never like before. probably, `home alone` shld be able to describe my current situation. mom is away in china, sister in taiwan, brother in the states and dad afh. sometimes i really miss the old days where my family would gather together and play table tennis. table tennis could well be one of the very few things that unite and link up everyone in my family. till now, i guess everyone in my family still treasure the game.

back to my current life, college graduation day just passed. frankly speaking, the video clips prepared by the different departments really touched my heart and of course i had a good laugh. i guess many others did too! theres always this moment in life where one have to move on to new territory and experience new things in life. however the challenge arrives when one is unwilling to leave his cosy and comfort zone. perhaps thats something we all need to learn to overcome. anyway, school have offically ended. but the madness ( studying) carries on. my prelims grades arent ideal at all(BCS) compared to my classmates who are topping the honour roll. anyway, as what mr low said` the main battle is the a level`, so i guess everyone else still stands a chance.

as i would really wish to carry on with this post, but i guess i should not neglect my sleep. for almost every weekdays, ihave been sleeping less than 6 hrs which is barely enough to keep my eyes wide open during the way. thats why weekends are meant to replenish the `lost` sleep. shall end here for now and press on to my fellow dude for the coming A levels!

512. does this number sound familiar? obviously! its been a yr since the 8.0-magnitude earthquake which took away almost 90000 lives in southwest china's sichuan province. although it has been a yr, the damage was so impactful that it left many emotionally, psychologically and mentally affected. hopefully, as seen from a china television programme, the affected people are slowly and gradually able to re enter society as normal people and carry on with life... i touch on this topic as i noticed many people around me are struggling with their life, be it with work, school, army etc. and so am i. but after watching the news and reading articles on the sichuan earthquake, i feel many many of much are still much better off as compared to the victims of the earthquke. all in all, just perservere and leave the rest to the person up there.

back to life, over the past 2 months life has been more or less the same routine. the annual table tennis season ended several weeks back and the teachers treated the team for a buffet dinner. the food was great although the idea was quite `new` to me. this yr's achievement was excellent with both team clinching 3rd position. although i felt that i was not really bonded to the team, at least i play my part as a team player. sometimes, when its not yr era, you dun rule by follow. hence, it was quite a fairly interesting yet fruitful time to be just a pure innocent team member, if you get what i meant, ha.

ok, move on to family. i guess and it is that my mum was so elated when she received her mother's day present from me and my siblings. obviously, when 3 of us cough off S$600 to get that canon camera which she could bring it along with her for her taiwan trip tmr. oh yes, mum leaving and i guess the hse will be in a mess again.

term 2 is coming to an end, but theres the damn chemistry and physics spa on skill A taking place on week 9 and 10 respectively. 10 full pages worth of words, diagrams, equations to be memorized....till then, see ya

Once again its nearing the end of year of 2008. Indeed, 2008 has been a unique year for me. There were ups and downs, times of happiness and sorrow, urgent situations where i have to make right decisions, overcome my fears of roller coasters, embarking on a fun yet slightly risky and dangerous trip to china, visited the rural areas and many other things which i always wanted to do or i have been tricked into doing, ha.

I vivdly remembered that 2008 did not start off well for me. Mainly because i redid my j1. Even though i told myself to start afresh, but certain fact will always remain as it is. It was extremely difficult to get over the past despite all the encouragement and talks. The pae period, about 3 months, were a total disaster for me. Constantly getting reprimanded by tutors, getting to school and skipping lessons, wasting time by lazing around. Around March was the annual A division table tennis competition. Frankly speaking, i did not place much high hopes for the guys team. Firstly, our team did too well in 2007 and comparing with this yr's standard, i dare not hope for much. Secondly, i was not as close to the team compared to 2007 thus my eagerness to win subsided. Further more, i was looking forward to the girls team getting into top 4. On the contrary, i was proven wrong, very wrong. The guys team did it but not for the girl. Over the 1 month plus period of competition, even though i did not give my best, but the other teamates did not give up. Desipte me playing below standard, we still emerge top4, which was our goal. This competition taught me a lesson which i always though i know until i personally experience it. `Never give up, keep on trying.` This quote kept me going on through mid yrs and promos.

Ok, its time for entertainment stuff. 2008 did not start off well with Edison Chen sex scandals photos being circulated around over the internet when he brought his computer for repair. Female artiste which includes Bobo Chan, Gilian Chung, Maggie Q, Cecelia Chung and many others were all linked to this incident. Back then, i remembered flipping thorough the chinese newspaper and it was heavily flodded with `edison chen incident` news. It caught the attention of millions of people and fans. This episode questions the importance of privacy and censorship as it is considered the largest scandal in years. Somehow this incident allow me to be aware of some artiste which i never knew in the past. But more importantly, i hope the affected artiste will get a fresh start for 2009. Shortly after that was the death of 肥姐 from Hong Kong. Although i do not know much about her, i can tell she is a highly recognised female artiste who gains the respect of many famous people. Seems like 2008 really did not start off well for the entertainment industry. Nevertheless, i had the time of my life during January, March and November which were Jay Chou, David Tao and Wang Leehom concert respectively. If you know me well, i will be biased and rate Jay Chou's concert as the best. However the concert that got me going high was Leehom's Music Man. The most `quiet` yet enjoyable concert was DT's 123 We are wooden men. Not to forget, there were great albums being churned out this year. Being biased, Jay Chou's Capricorn will be the best. His first hit, dao xiang, was a motivational and inspiring song. It was released during the right time as many felt life is coming to an end as many `saved` their hard earned money over in stocks, espeacilly Lehman Brothers etc. Also, songs such as ` promised happiness`,` give me the time of a song` were well received too. Several albums which i personally like are eason chen `不想放手`，jam xiao `收藏`，yoga lin `神秘嘉宾`，aska yang `鸽子`, 张学友`2007 World Tour`, 王力宏 `心跳`，罗志祥 `潮男正传`. To add on, the last 3 albums were released one day after another which i named them the best christmas present ever. Zhang xue you's album was pre chirtmas present, leehom's one was chirstmas present and my pig's one was post chirstmas present. Till date, i guess i have at least listen to each of their full album 5 times, ha.

This paragraph will be the recap of my china trip. I guess i have limited time so it should be a brief one. So it started off waking up early on 3 Dec morning. Took a cab to pick up yc and headed off to changi airport. It was a 9am flight and the journey took approximately 4 hours to xiamen. Upon reaching, yc's cousin took us for lunch at master's kong restuarant. The food is real spicy man. After that we went to yc's dad's office. The view there was great as it is facing the xiamen stadium where megastars perform at. Indirectly, one can watch free concert, ha. after that was shopping, dinner and ktv. on 4 dec mrng, we left for shenzhen where chenlong came to pick us from the airport. we had lunch at his hse and then it was shopping and then ktv at night. 5 dec in hong kong ocean park and dinner at shenzheng. we went for leg message at night too. 6 dec was crazy shopping at hong kong, visiting historical places, going up to the peak and the wax museum and a risky trip back shenzhen at night. woke up late on 6dec. had lunch and a tour around cl's dad office. after that was fun team at huan le gu, a team park in shenzhen. cl's dad treated us to dinner at sea food restaurant. then we went to pub where i find the singers were not bad. then we went clubbing..lol and i detest it totally. not my type of place to be in. on 8b dec mrng, we went to climd a small hill where there was a deng xiao ping statue at the top. after that cl' dad treated us to lunch. we went to shenzhen stadium for a walk and was hoping it was open so i could get a feel of being part of like abt 30000 crowd during a concert. but sadly it was close. sians. after that we went back to xiamen. on 9 dec, we went for lunch with ye ling and i bought glasses there too. went to gu lang yu for a tour. it is quite close to my ideal place. following that was dinner at home. on 10 dec, went to yc's coach shop. got several items at discounted price and its serving me pretty well now. later we we nt to hu li shan bao tai. after that went to xiamen stadium for a table tennis match with river valley high ppl. on 11 dec, i went back to my ancestors house at nan an. we took a 2 hours bus journey and motorbiked into the hills. guess wat, 4 person on a motorbike...and we made it in a safely. stayed there for about 3 hrs before gng back to xiamen. by then it was already dinner time and we were famished. 12 dec mrng, we went to climb a higher hill at the back of yc place. after that we went to a book shop where i grap 2 copies of table tennis world and i did not regret buying at all. lastly went to wash leg again before heading to airport, and holy shit, the plane was delayed by 3 hours but nevertheless still make it back to singapore safely. ok, thats all. fast yea?. yea, cause i am late for my friends birthday party.

Not to forget, wish all a happy new yr. look forward to 2009 although it wun be doing very well in the `certain` areas. but who cares, life still goes on!

Merry Christmas to all! Without second thoughts, the song `圣诞节` by eason chen starts playing in my brain. Its suppose to be a sad song and does not suit my current feeling but i still like the song very much. On christmas eve afternoon headed to town together with junyi and ryan. Lunched at a small restaurant at the basement of cineleisure and started roaming about orchard. Like many others, i could not resist the temptations of branded goods despite their so expensive price. I have set my eyes on a Fred Perry polo tee and the average cost per piece is $150! But it was a wrong decision to tell mum about it cause all i got was a never-ending `lecture`. After shopping, went back cine to play pool with them and felt cheated as they charge 13 dollars per hour! Left for grandparents house for bbq cum christmas celebration. Sadly there was a slight rain, but nevertheless everyone there was in high spirits. Families, friends and relatives came, about 30 people in all. So it was mainly eating and talking till i left for home...

As for today, woke up close to noon time. Had nasi lemak for lunch, which was recommended by uncle. Indeed it was really good, u guys shld go try it out. If i am not wrong its at block 603, near st nicholas sch at ang mo kio area. Also, the famous adam nasi lemak orginates from that amk mo kio stall. Also, botak jones is available at block 608. Didnt know such great food is just a stone throw away from home, ha. As for dinner, its again bbq at grandparets place. I name it the `encore bbq` due to the successful one the day before. However today was better as there was no rain thus it was outdoor bbq.

Over the past few years, i rarely celebrated christmas and this year was no exception too. Heard people talking about christmas exchanging gifts which i though was a great idea. Needless to say, i didnt prepare anything for anyone. But i feel that i am blessed cause Leehom brighten my day with his 13th album dubbed ` heart. beat`. I am now at track 8 of his album , nearing the end. Perhaps i shall leave my comments about it to the next post cause it really takes a great deal of time to digest and do a review on a album.

Ok, thats all for now. Gota wake up early tmr to meet xiang ge. Also, xiao zhu is realeasing his 5th album! I guess i will countless hours on the headset in due time...

Finally back in Singapore! Home is still the best place to be despite travelling to many places over the past decade. The past 11 days were just a Blast. This trip is very different from the rest as i am travelling with only 2 friends. Futhermore, we met many obstacles and diffculties along the way. Ok, i gtg for the damn tuition now and will find time to blog in detail about the trip in due course. bye

Finally in china, xiamen. Touched down at about 1pm and head for lunch at master's kong kitchen with yu chuan and cousin. Shortly after, visited yc's dad office (holy shit, its cool man!)Yea, the designs are really an eye-opener! Shopped for a while before heading back to yu chuan's office sitting at 28th storey at a prime area. Guess wat? The xiamen stadium is just beside the office and i can directly see the whole stadium from bird's eyeview! How cool can that be! Able to watch free concert at such a fabulous view. Ok, wait till i post the pictures. Am off for dinner and ktv! Staying at He Jiang Hotel for a night before catching the 10.30am flight to shenzhen tomorrow to find Chen Long. Will be at Shenzhen and Hong Kong for the next 5 days. See ya!

For the past few days, it is always one step closer towards dream journey. For now, i should probably say i am just one last step towards dream journey. Will be leaving for china ( xiamen, shenzhen, hong kong) on wednesday morning. Initally i thought this trip will not come true as there are too many things to consider and certainly it was not easy convincing my mum! But still, i managed to pull through all obstacles. Everything is almost done, just waiting for wednesday morning to arrive.

The past 2 weeks were filled with events which include the family trip to macau and zhuhai(china), brother's 20th birthday bbq, the regular gyming routine, table tennis trainings, lunch with mdm lee and yc, tuitions, table tennis farewell bbq, 405 ktv and others... ...

The rest shall be pictures of trip to macau and zhuhai random order. try figuring it out yourself ba=)

Hmm, back again.

At last manage to take some time off my hectic lifestyle to blog. The past two weeks have been quite eventful yet tiring, but everything was worthwhile.

Caught Quantum of solace with class peeps; eng tuan, james, derrick,wan xian, xue li, lisel in afternoon at amk hub. Sad to say, quite dissapointed with the movie. I feel that it is lacking in something. Perhaps not enough fightings? duration could prolonged to include more scenes and sex scene not appealing( as mentioned by junxi,ha). Feeling unsatisfied with the show (at least for me), we left for sumo house nearby to fill our hungry stomach. To my astonishment, the japenese food set most of us ordered is priced at only $2.90. On top of that, we were treated with 2 plates of fish fillet by the restaurant. Holy Shit, i am certainly going back there agin to try out other food. About 5pm, we set off seperately. Decided to hit the gym before going home and to my utter surprise, met my sis in the gym. As i was tired, 45minutes of workout was enough to knock me out. The next few hours were spend getting everything ready for my trip to macau tomorrow.

Not to forget, leehom's music man concert on 1 nov was just too fabulous! i can safely say its the concert that get me so HIGH! Although i will still agree jay is the best. Nevertheless, leehom is great in his own ways. Besides the expensive ticket, spend quite a amount on merchandise too. Also, saw sun yanzi and kit chan at the concert. There were several local female actress too. Its a rare chance to see so a number of artiste at the indoor stadium. Shall let the pictures explain everything.

Table tennis training is on going this holiday. Have been training as much as i could but the result is not significant yet. hmmm, it's time to reflect. Sometimes i really felt like giving up on table tennis but i just couldn't force myself to make that decision. Perhaps table tennis is my passion, its impossible to get rid of it. Till that day if it really comes, i will train with discipline and focus for A's championship next yr.

Life is pretty slack these days, think i shall summarize the main events that took place recently.

After 3 months, i decided to go for a haircut on 13 october. met up with junyi before proceeding down to the saloon. more or less satisfied with the haircut. perhaps its a little too short but i guess it should be alright since i arent going for any important events in the next few weeks or so.

Have been going school for only an hour of lecture and training in the afternoon. Also, my teamates and i had been patronizing macdonals almost after every training till that i am so sick of it! At least i get to interact more with them cause i feel that i lost touch with the team since june i guess.

15 oct, the day all j1 nyjcians are anxiously waiting for. it was checking of scripts in the school hall. i didnt do well enough for all subjects, at lest to my own expectations. i dont really like to compare results which most people does(i guess). to me, actually i predicted what grades i will receive after finishing the paper. more importantly, its not about the grades. its about whether one have done his best, gave off he could for the subject. for this promo exams, i felt that i did not give my best shot and i am really disappointed with the results. although some may say its good but each and everyone of us have different goals. thus i dun see the need to compare and comment on other's grade. instead we should think of how we can better our grades and discover more effective and productive studying methods. ultimately, we are aiming to ace the A level. its alright if we have fallen at certain stages in our jc life. most importantly, we must not give up! i am sure those who have really fallen to great depth must be feeling that its the end of the world. i will agree to it too, but its only for a period of time. in short, i am sure those who have fallen earlier in life will benefit them in the long run. its quite difficult to explain everything but i know it myself cause i am a victim of it.

the feeling of being `pang seh` is not pleasant at all. several of my classmates and i got invited for a moe teaching scholarship seminar. in the end, i went alone. however, i must admit the seminar was indeed an eye opener towards the eduction sector. i pity those who think that just because being a teacher is not their cup of tea and thus chose not to go. haiz, i can only say that they are living in their own world.

the following 2 weeks is free time. however, i dont really look forward to it. i detest lanning as i get giddy easily. i dont like to hang out wasting time. i dont play computer games not that i am against it but there is no games installed in my computer. i dont go out unnecessary as i dont like to spend money. instead, i love saving money and probably investing if i am capable of it. Warren Buffett once mentioned that` start saving young and investing before 20 is the route to success`. for now its saving and i cant wait for the first investment. also, i discovered something stange about myself. i love studying and reading up after exams. perhaps its due to the absence of `exam` thus no stress or pressure at all. ha, this must be so ironic. who would like to study in the first place, not mentioning studying after promos right?

had a chat with my dad regarding the recent economic financial crisis. knew much more from what i read from the newspaper. was pondering how come my dad knew so much until he revealed he got burnt badly in his pocket amounting up to 5 digits. i was stunned back then. perhaps this is why my parents have been telling me not to gamble in the future. although it may bring short term benefits, but in the long run one will lose out. unless one is warren buffet lo.ha. quite recently he said ` be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful`. after much thoughts, i totally agree with it. but only people of his status and wealth is able to not only say that but abide by what he says. most of us know how to ` be fearful when others are greedy`. but how many how us are able to `be greedy when others are fearful`? of course one must have the money first. no wonder people always say money talks.

not to forget about music. jay chou's 9th ablum `capricorn` is worth listening to. songs such as `说好的幸福呢` ， ` 给我一首歌的时间` ， `花海` are my favourites. seriously i think jay has built a strong foundation for his music in asia. until his 9th album, the song quality is still present. of coure improving is favoured, but being able to maintain is no easy task too. local singer/songwrite lin jun jie's 6th album ` JJ 陆` is qutie disappointing. he took about 1 year and 8 months or so to produce an album which i guess should take at most 5 months. Its really a substandard album, no room for comparison to jay's. no offence, but its just my opinion. next to look forward to is leehom concert on 1 nov and hopefully his album will be in stores by mid nov. as for david tao, i hope i wun have to wait till late dec. other artist expected to release albums by end of this year are jolin, a mei, xiao zhu, yang chen ling and several others...

promos ended on tuesday with chemistry paper1. however, the chemistry department decided to spice things up by returning paper 2 and 3 to us. i am quite sure everyone was excited. of course, i wish to get good grades. but more importantly, did i do my best? i think thats not the case for paper2, haiz. nevertheless i hope paper 1 will do well enough to assure my A. wonder if i can even maintain mid year grades for other subject...

since promo is over, its time to do some non-academic stuff. several goals for this holiday. first is to brush up my table tennis skills; at least 5 times per week. hopefully my sister wont be travelling overseas so i can improve faster. next up is training for the ultimate body machine; gym at least 4 times per week. not to foget, i signed up for the 15km new balance race on 19 oct. running has always been my weakness but i am gng for it this time round. third will be achieving my ideal hairstyle ( somewhat similar to luo zhi xiang). the current state of my hair is messy, thick, long and weird. the last hair cut was almost 2 months back. back then, the hairstylist told me to keep my hair till very long so its easier to achieve my goal. that explains why i have not visit any saloon since then. but i guess my next visit will be within the next 2 weeks. if not i guess my mum will not allow me to enter the house anymore! lastly, it will be a trip to china with yu chuan and chen long(hopefully). most likely it will be in december if nothing goes wrong. but in reailty, many a times things go wrong. basically these are the 4 main targets for the next 2.5 months.

Music. it has always been part of my life and will always be part of my life. eason chen released his lastest chinese album `不想放手` during middle of the year. unknowingly, i paid special attention to his album this year. songs such as `路一直都在` and `不要说话` were my favourtie. also, i started flipping eason's past albums and begin to appreciate his songs better. closer to the 4th quarter of the year will be the time where mega stars release their albums. leehom's inital plan to release his 13th album during mid september was unfortunately delayed for 2 more months. haiz. nevertheless, he kicked off his `music man` concert in taiwan on 19 and 20 sep as planned. coming 1st november, music man will be performing in singapore at the indoor stadium! of course i will be going!!! zooming back to somewhere closer, jay chou will be releasing his 9th album 磨杰座 on 15 oct, a delayed date. the theme comprises of magician and clown which is pretty anticipating. i bet his album advertisment picture must have sent many fanz screaming away. local talent lin jun jie will be releasing his latest album soon too. it should be in stores early nov. finally, david tao who promised an album by this year before he disappers from the music arena for about 2 years where he will focus on his first self-directed movie.

ok, its 5.38am in the morning. my eyelids are getting heavier as i continue to punch the keypads. good `morning`.

several events occured the past few days. the national day holidays were wasted, didnt make full use of it. oh yea, and i went down to suntec to catch a glimpse of jam xiao jing teng on 10 aug 08. his really great man, his vocals i meant. later that was studying at marina with yu chuan and dinner at his place. parents and relatives were off to malaysia leaving me and sis at home. frankly, i am very disappointed as i was not there to take care of my sis when she was critically ill. hmm, i should really reflect on my actions and thoughts... anyway, promos is just a mere 40 days away. there so much to catch up, and i really shld be 闭关-ing from this moment onwards. ok, so i presume my next post will be after promos unless theres really something so impt...all the best to all preparing for promos, prelims, a levels

within a span of several months, i think i have changed so much. till the extent i hate myself who being who i am now as i once hated such people so much. never did it occur to me that i am like one of them now( at least to me.) haiz, i really duno how to overcome it. perhaps what jie huang told me last yr is true. ` usually we are not who we are, but rather we are what the environment make us` hmm, seems like its true...

this long waited day has finally arrived, BEIJING OLYMPICS! china has waited for nearly 100 years and this dream finally came true, unbelievable. being a chinese, i feel proud for china. A country with a history of 5000 years hosting the olympics will definitely be unique. if i have the chance, i would definitely make a trip to beijing to witness the opening ceremony( which begins at 8.08pm) , to be part of the 90000 crowd in the bird nest stadium, a fan in the `ice cube` etc...
argh, will continue later. gota rush for dinner. rmb, catch the opening of the olypmics on channel 01 at 8.08pm!!!

hmm, seems like today is a rather special day.

sch was rather short today. ended off at 12.30 and left for lunch with classmates. shortly after, made an appointment and rush off for haircut. chatted with hairstylist(suzan) about hair and some entertainment stuff. before long, yuchuan came for haircut too. couldnt stay till he finish his as i was rushing off to catch red cliff at amk hub. guess who i met there? Benedict and darren, my secondary sch friends. Coincidentally, they were watching the same show too. To add on, their seats were just beside me only. so actually its a unplanned meet up?, ha. Somehow or rather, i feel blessed (?) or fortuante to meet yuchuan and benedict. Reminising about the past, the ` fu, lu, shou`. Perhaps very few will know about the name. Not to forget about the movie, red cliff. As i always love to read up on historical figure, i am interested in the lifes of famous figure, such as cao cao, zhu ge liang etc from the movie. Red cliff is one of the best historial movie i have ever seen. i am running out of time so i suggest all should watch the movie if possible. Somehow or rather, i like the role of cao cao; having no friends, trusting himself only etc...

After watching the movie, i learnt something. But i forgot what was the phrase used in the movie. will go and check it out before posting it again next time.

its another weekend again. perhaps a different weekend. usually, i would stay at home while the rest enjoy themselves somewhere out there. as for this special saturday evening, i accompained my mum shopping at orchard. maybe because i am too stressed up by many things and need to take a break. unexpectedly, my mum seems to be in high spirit. She took me for a filling dinner at coca, bought a red crumpler and addidas bottle for me. wana thank my mum for everything.

the past 5 days in school had been a weird one for me. my brain arent working well. instead its working at snail pace. i arent sure wats the cause for it too. besides that, i have been asking brainless, stupid, lame questions where friends are giving me the ... look. even chen long could no longer stand my stupidness, wtf! its not that i wana be one, but i am really not functioning well. as the week started approaching the weekends, my mind totally drifted away when in lectures and tutorials. somehow or rather, i get the feeling of escaping from this fast paced society and transporting myself to a rural area near the sea side where i can take my own time to smell the roses, enjoy the picturesque scenery of the horizon, close my eyes and enjoy the sea breeze etc... but its all just a dream.

on friday, something major occured in my life. i did something that i never once did before in the past 18 years. at least i did all i wanted to say, to express, to
potray all these while. god and fate will take care of the consequences, which although has been `finalised`. nevertheless, i will not give up. so after school on friday, left for dinner with yu chuan before heading to his place to enjoy music and movie.

thinking back, when i was in isolation for 10 days before mid yr exam, i have always been in deep thoughts. many events, ideas, dreams crossed my mind. i have been always motivated by great quotes from famous people round the world. thus, i decided to come up with one for my own and by myself. and it is
`BE YOURSELF, HUMBLE YOURSELF, CHALLENGE YOURSELF`

firstly, everyone of us is different from one another. we got to be who we are and not what the environment shape us into or who we are trying to copy. only when we are who we really are, we will know what we really are. sounds ironic yea? so we must find oneself first before one can be oneself.

secondly, we must never be too proud, or complacent of ourselves. instead, we must always lend a listening ear to others. listen to what others have to say before commenting. cause although one can be right, but one is never always right. besides, it wont kill by not showing off etc. so we must be humble.

thirdly, many of us are able to accomplanish task when we are forced or under pressure. this proves that we must be challenged in order to complete task we would never actually thought of. our actions are determined by our mind. and our mind are usually set to a certain level of capabilities. this is actually a psuedo `reaction`, ha. we tend to think of how capable we are, thus we only do things that is within our capability. in short, we must erase our old minset and set a new set of challenges, whereby through challenging new and more difficult thus, we are actually challenging ourselves.

ok, thats all for now. and i miss my sister who has been away in vietnam for 6 days!

another weekend again. before i summarize my week, the 19th golden melodies award also known as 金曲奖 will be taking place in taiwan, 小巨蛋 today!!! the most prestigious chinese award ceremony ever! good news is that it will be live telecast over channel 56. the red carpet event starts at 5.30pm sharp, and the actual event at 7pm. year in and out, i am always looking forward to such events. Personally, i hope gary chaw will win the best male singer award. its high time for him to bag the award though. however, if eason chan wins, theres no much arguement too. cause he is the acclaimed next god of singer, also known as 歌神. on the other hand, i personally have no idea for the female singers. From critics and reviews, fish leong seems to be the winner. But beware of the black horse, local singer, cai chun jia. However, i am supporting A-Mei. She's really the best female singer in taiwan! Not to forget my idol, jay chou. Although, and quite disappointing, that he is't nominated for the best male singer, he is nominated for 8 other categories! Even though having the most nominations, jay is absening himself from the event, like last year too. Alright, enough of music.

this week, got back several examination scripts. erm, i performed within expectations. However, the mistakes i commited are so !@#$%^&*, unforgivable at all. Having repeat another year, its just the least that i should perform much better than the cohort. So i don't really call for a need to celebrate. Instead, i am planning for my next journey, the promos! One may not be aware, promos begin on 22 sep. If i am not wrong, there are only 78 days left starting tomorrow. In order to reach my personal goal, i am not letting any of the 78 days wasted. If you know me well, you should know my goal.

after lesson on thursday was a class outing. sorry for holding the class back for about 1.5 hour as i was engage in a arguement with a teacher. Although its only worth 1 mark, i feel that i should fight for what belongs to me. And i got it. so we left for vivo city. walk arnd and had dinner at food republic. after that, we went to the open area facing sentosa and enjoyed the scenery there. think i shall let the pictures do the talking instead.

at last, mid yr exam is over! dont wish to comment much about it, wait till i get my results ba. so after geo paper this mrng, went to orchard to chill with chen long. firstly, went to collect my repaired phone at wisma. have been surviving on a old screwed phone for some time and it really suck cause i lost most of my contacts. worst of all, all the data in my new repaired phone got deleted too. thus, i lost many ppl's number. wonder how am i gng to get back the list. anyway, brought cl around orchard to somerset and dhoby ghaut.

although mid yr is over, i arent the least bit feeling elated at all. perhaps its because i arent enjoying my life this yr at all. next week is another holiday for me except thu. wonder how i am gng to slack my time off. well, i rather go sch and attend lessons.

oh ya, not to forget, i am so proud of my sis. once again, she did my family proud. this time round she bagged 3 champions from the recent south east asia junior competition for the singles, doubles and team categories. what else could i say as her brother, ha. think i really owe her a meal or a present. sometimes, i wish i could play like her. rather at least one quarter of her standard will be good enough for a jc student.

talking abt music, gary chow and eason chen will be staging their concerts on 12 and 26 july respectively. really got to urge to go watch either one of their concert. but i think my parents will be pissed off at me for wasting money. it really isnt wasting money as watching LIVE concert is different from dvd or on tv. but on second thoughts, i will reconsider as i had already burnt a big hole in my wallet after watching jay chou and david tao concert earlier this year. oh yea, i wana intro 2 new singers. Mr xiao hong ren and xiao jing deng. in short, they are awesomely great! check out yu chuan blog for more details. also, eason chen will be releasing his next chi album on 1st july, xiao zhu on 11 july, lin yu zhong on 8 august. hmm, at least i wun be bored in the following months to come as i have great chi music to accompany me along!

again, another earthquake with a alarming magnitude of 7.2. this time round it hit the mountainous area of northern Japan. haiz, y all this disaster, one after another. is mother earth hinting something to us? are we overutilizing her that she cant even sit back and rest? i think the answer is obvious if u read the news constantly.

within a twinkling, 3 weeks of holidays have past. many events took place. want to thank many ppl for celebrating my birthday. my sis for the meal at new york and the ear phone, chen long for the meal at billybombers, parents and bro for the dinner at orchard hotel( it was fabulous but yet costly, i know), my ogl friends; junyi, joshua, ying chen, shinna, joslyn, sarah, adelene, rj, for the mini part and stay over at ying chen hse( totally love the chocolcate cake!), my tt mates who accompanied me for steamboat dinner at amk: junyi, aloysius, ryan, dennis, yong jing, shi yun, xinyu and all those who wish me through sms or msn. i really appreciate yr effort. oh ya, not to forget the present from yi zhuang. it really suits me well, thanks.

4 days were spent at toa payoh sports hall watching the TMS international table tennis compeition. like usual, i will grab the student season ticket and spent almost 7 hrs there daily. my sis manage to enter the game and i am sure its a good experience for all. next, there was this umpire course that i went to attend at ccab. its not a good start as i got lost along the way there and spend $14 dollars on taxi fare for a journey not more than 20 mins! i really feel kinda out of place as everyone there was mostly secondary sch student. also, i am shocked by the behaviour of girls from girls school. all in all, the course was an eye opener as there are many rules of table tennis that i arent sure of.

oh, i got a haircut. its the best haircut ever over the past 18 yrs i guess. but theres a price to pay for too=(. yu chuan will agree with me, ha. my hair is only presentable when styled so usually its...haiz. but its alright since i am living in isolation.

caught the movie, 江山美人 over at yc place. although its the typical ancient warrior show with internal struggle over the throne, what caught mine attenion was the role played by li ming. those who know me well enought will definitely think so. living in the rural area, free from stress, enjoying the greenery, rearing cattle bla bla. maybe i can add on the hotair ballon that li ming took a ride on. its definetely a guarantee for picturesque scene.

my sis will be back after 1 week of intensive trng at singapore sports school. i thought there will be joy at home again. but she is leaving for malaysia tomorrow for sea games i think. and i guess it will be another lonely week. guess it will be alright, gota get use to it.

finally, bro and sis back from overseas. ok, at least its more lively at home now compared to the last 2 weeks. looks like bro didnt have a hard time over at thailand for his military attachment as he is basically just a facilitator. as for my sis, she performed well in her competitions over in bangkok, her group event came in 3rd. as usual, dad and mum busy working and pursing their own interest. and i just realised that my dad left for indonesia for busniess trip again, my family really seem to be to split up. as for me, life has been more or less the same. its either the books, the computer, the tv or just gazing into space, wondering off into my own dreamland.

while having dinner just now, there was a shocking news being released over channel 8. a large scale earthquke in si chuan （四川, china）took 5000 lives and left more than 10000 injured. also, there are 2 singapore tour grp over there in si chuan. wonder hows the situation there now. dunno y, i just seem to be so concerned over this issue as it struck me deeply when i knew abt it. perhaps i have been watching too much national geography and discovery channel le. ok thats all for now, bye

argh, tired. just reach home from sch. completed 2.4 km run in this earlier this mrng. although my timing was ok, but i feel i could do better. nevertheless, it was an impovement taking into account that my intensive trng started only 1 week ago. first run was 15 min, next was 13 min, followed by 12.10min, then 11.40 min and 11.20min. and i ran 10.59 min today. so i have always been value adding. ok, i know this is crap.

life has been so boring these days. brother off to thailand for some military training since last week. sister went off to thailand for some open table tennis competition early this mrng. also, maid went back to her hometown. as usual, dad and mum busy working and earning money. so here i am, alone in the house. either facing the computer screen, or the television screen or doing my work. but fortunately, i have great chinese music to accompany me for at least this 2 weeks.

frankly, i am jealous of my sister. i think she and my dad are the most fortunate ppl in my family. the travel arnd the glode so frequently. as for my dad, its business purposes so its understandable. as for my sis, she just play table tennis like me and she get to travel! its not just a normal flight to watever place. she have been to almost 10 cities in china, also to korea, india, thailand, indonesia, malaysia. she is now in thailand, after that she will be heading to POLAND. god knows wheres that place yea, and shortly after that to malaysia again. adding onto the list where we travel as a family our holidays, i think she covered at least half the glode liaoz ba. as the saying goes` u gain something, u lose something` rarely will ppl know the amt of monstrous training my sis undergoes, the amt of intense presuure she gota handle ... ... so its as wonderful as it may seem afterall. anyway, one of my dream is to travel to every part of the world and experience the beauty of nature at different parts of the globe.

DT IN THE HOUSE!!!

david tao will be staging his concert `123 我们都是木头人` concert in singapore today; 8pm at the singapore indoor stadium. oh man, his really one of the greatest singers around. of course, i will be supporting his concert yea, ha. but sadly, i always burn all my savings on concerts, haiz. but at least its worthwhile. cause watching a concert live is definitely much differently as watching from dvd. this yr quite an exception cause usually i visit the indoor stadium once a yr for concert since 2003. but this yr, its my second time stepping into indoor stadium for concert le. yea, and there goes my $ lo. ha. think i gota start saving for the next concert again. ok, gtg chiong my work be4 heading to sch to collect award for sch's college day. and catch me at indoor stadium later! ha=)

had a bad day. argh, i dun wish to go into details. but some things which should not be taking place now are happening. argh! its like 1 yr of effort, and its seems to be gng down the drain. of all times, it must be this period. this is the most crucial period whereby the players will meet and compete, haiz. is god trying to play a trick on me? i think so. perhaps i dun have the flair for it, i shld have stick to piano which i truly love it. maybe its a wrong decision making back then but theres nth much i could do to salvage the current situation. the major matches are just days away. sometimes, i just detest myself so much. seeing how my siblings excelling in life just make me feel depressed. when will it be my turn? or will it never happen? ok, am off to the poolside to emo, hope tmr will be a better day =)

am not in the mood to study these days, its all about table tennis. a brief summary for the competition till now. both the guys and girls team top their group and have advanced to the next stage, quarter finals. the guys are up against hci and jjc while girls are facing hci and vjc. to me, this is the most important and difficult stage for A division. u either get lousy results by getting kick off during preliminary rounds or acheive good results by claiming at least top4 positions. thus, top 6 is neither here nor there. so next tue, wed and thu are 3 very impt days for nytt. we gota to persist and brave through all difficulties and beat our opponents. no doubt, our opponents arent any freebies at this stage. in fact, most are much stronger than us. but i believe that nytt will be able to brace through this obstacle. all the way nytt!

on a more serious tone, today, 5th april 2008 (saturday) is a damn fugly bad day for me. woke up in the mrng at 5am, duno y too. stared outside the windows, enjoying the picturesque scenery for abt an hr. and slowly slept on the sofa. the next time i woke up, got this bad headache which lasted for almost 12 hrs. it doesnt seems to subside after taking pills and resting. damn it! ok, so i went to sch for tt trng from 9 to 12. was feeling low and down most of the time. but was slighlty beta when playing compeition, yea. so after trng, left home immediately and abruptly which i preseume cause some of the tt mates to be angry? i duno. upon reaching home, slept for a while be4 headind for chem tuition. oh man, at least its productive. after that, dad gave me a ride home as it was raining damn heavily. and here i am now, blogging. gota go out soon, for some family gathering again and duno at where again. hope i wun waste time there like be4. ok, i gota go pop another pill be4 the headache gets worse. byez

this post is specially dedicated to all david tao fanz. or at least ppl who listens to dt's music.

2 days back, yc inform me that dt will be coming s'pore. obviously i went to check out more and found out he will be at the central near singpore river on 30 march at 4pm and at j8 at 5pm.

on 30 march, went to collect ticks with yc from sistic at hougang mall be4 heading down to the central. when we arrive, it was about 3.10. we were expecting a big crowd and was qutie sad too cause only the first 100 crowd are given a limited dt poster where dt will sign on it. although dt will sign on our tickets, getting the poster is definitely better. and so after searching high and low for the right place, we arrived. we were quite astounded as its a very small scale 签票会. without second thoughs, we got into the line and were estimating whether are we within the first 100, ha. we waited and waited be4 i decided to read some notes. half way through reading, heard some shouts and screams. thought it was the arrive of dt but to no avail. nearing 4pm, 1 organiser and a security guy were walking down the queue and they were giving out the limited 100 posters. as they walk towards us, we were feeling elated. however, the thinkness of the poster got thinner and thinner as they walked down the queue. luckily, we managed to get the last few posters. after us, the 2 lady behind us were the lucky ones who recieved the last 2 posters. thinking back, yc and i are the 97th and 98th crowd respectively ba, ha. a dj went on stage at abt 4 and started interacting with the crowd. its just a waste of time, although i knew must be dt delay. yea, and he came abt 30 mins late! he was spotted wearing a black think frame specs, clad in a light blue long sleeve shirt and trendy jeans. not to forget his signature hairstyle which i paid extra attention to, ha. at abt 4.45, the signing session commenced. wow man! and again, we waited and waited, proceeded forwards a few steps every few mins. slowly, we were beside the stage and ready to meet DT!!! so when i went up the stage, i passed the security my concert tickets and the poster. in my heart, it was was burning hot. after the person in front of me walked off, i walked towards dt and said ` 陶喆，你好` and he replied` hi, nice meet` be4 penning down his signature on the tick and poster. i continued by saying ` see you at the concert` and he said ` see you there too`. and off i went down the stage, feeling damn 爽。 ok, i will post some pics now and i needa go zzz le.

A `Special` Day

Nanyang Table Tennis Camp. It started off with training from 9 to 12. Went to school earlier at abt 7.30 to train servies. shortly after, tt mates were streaming in and trng started off promptly at 9. as the time went by, started feeling drowzy and headache. besides, there were some matters that upset me further, haiz. usually i would fight for what i want or at least what i deserve. but this time round, i did otherwise, although i dun wish for it to occur. so, i was like physically there in the hall trng, but my mind was switched off. ok, enough ranting abt it. after trng, went to shower and had team lunch. guess wat, its chicken rice! yea, chicken rice. at abt 2pm, the afternoon session of the camp commenced. basically, i was one of the 4 facilitators. then the rest were split into 2 main grps and further split into 2 smaller grps. It started off with some introduction followed by some ice breakers such as `find your right one` and ` entangled`. these 2 games lasted for abt an hour. by then, the guys and girls started to know one another better and start communicating, like finally. ha. the next part was ` who are you`. simply, the 4 small groups got to come up with their own grp name and some cheers. also, presentation comes after it. half way through, i left to help out in the setting up of the `obstacle race` which was the highlight of the day. oh man, this where i starting feeling really giddy and started developing a bad headache. carrying chairs from the hall to the tennis court, placing the long canteen tables at the correct positions, building the maze along with the raffia strings( which i am very proud of apparently), spreading out the large floor map which lasted for approximately 2 hrs.
argh, was dead tired by then. on the other side, the rest were busy playing the marshmallow game. its kinda disgusting, ha. finally, the obstacle race began. all i could its damn freaking fun for those playing. i was laughing my lungs out seeing the silly things they did. all in all, they learnt to communicate more with each other and learnt more from one another. after that, it was reflection time. in a circle arrangement, each of us too turns to give our opinions abt the camp and bascially our own feelings abt the camp. yea, i know i am rushing cause i am currently really tired. so we left to j8 for dinner. the guys went long johns to dine. after that met mum and family at swensens. wat a joke, when i reach there, they finish eating and were abt to settle the bill. thought i could have some ice cream though, ha. after that, my mum told me they gona do some shopping. i was like wth, arent u kidding and so i took the train and bused home. ok, i shall end here for today, am too tired. oh yea btw, yang zhong wei is in singapore today. hope many ppl went to support him. also, DAVIC TAO is coming singapore tmr. 4pm at singapore river. catch me there too. =)

received A level chinese results today. was disappointed with my grade, C with distinction(oral). hmm, thought for sometime and decided not to retake. anyway in the future, knowing how to speak is more useful than knowing how to write. thats for my case only, yea. because my goal in the future is to become an investor. so knowing how to converse in chi is gd enough and probably understanding the chi world.

sometime back, caught an article in the newpaper regarding my idol. its not jay chou. but rather warren buffett. i look up to him because i share the same goal as him which is to become an investor. he as achieved his goal but he isnt just any other investor. he is the world famous investor, currently (as of 2008) the richest man in the world with a net worth estimated at $62 billion pushing bill gates down to third position.

its approximately one more month to nationals competition. hope nytt will be able to do as well as last yr. been trng quite frequently, hope everything pays off.

Oh man, why will i be awake at 6.30am on a saturday morning? I took a short nap in the evening on friday and when i woke up at 9pm, the surrounding was dark. Pitch dark. I guess it must be due to a black out. There's nothing much i could do so i went back to zzz. The next time i woke up was at 6am, its pitch dark again. However, i saw a gleam of light through the small opening of the room door. So i guessed the problem have been solve and here i am blogging in front of the computer screen. What a day to lead, but i managed to sleep for 11 hours, lol. Later still got to go sch for ogl dance workshop follow by table tennis training and finally tuition. Argh!

Back to revive this dead blog.

Firstly, i need to say THANK YOU to 0707 for the gift. I am really touched by everyone's sincere comments from the bottom their heart. Although i anticipated this day to come, ( cause i saw through u ppl's dicussion, ha) i was caught offguard by kia liang. Simply because i would not have thought of him passing the gift to me during that situation. I was given a stern warning for being late for chem lecture but it was worthwhile for exchange with the gift, ha! Flippiing through the pages gift( diy book), i could not stop thinking of the fond memories i shared with everyone in 0707. The laughers, the arguements, the shoutings, the dao-ing, the bio-ing etc etc. As i flip through the 26 pages (shld be), i though of every single one in 0707. Each page was from one of them, filled with touching words and encouragements. As i read, i wished i could still be in the same class as you ppl. But sadly, life has to go on. I know u ppl will own the A levels this yr and so will i for the promos. Lets strive and achieve our goals together!

Initially wanted to watch ` the warlords` be4 meeting 405 peeps in the evening. However due to the crap from my mum and delaying of having lunch with her, i got home late. i couldn't make it in time for the show, thus decided to call if off. Instead, i shall spend the time blogging. New Year resolutions aside, shall share with everyone some things i wana blog about first.

1st. It had been a great time with 0707. We weathered through many storms and obstacles together, but still we stand strong. 27 of us will always be one team, at least that is how i feel, cause we are brought together into the same class. even though, some may not have done well, like me, or barely make it, dun give up.(I did not used to think this way. i will share this in the following paragraphs.) i am sure with the support from classmates and teachers, we will do well!

2nd.`U gain some in life, u lose some in life`. Yu Chuan told me this some time back. Although this sentence may seem just 10 words or even repetition of words, not many will comprehend the actual meaning behind it. Simply because one have not either gain some in life or lose some in life yet. Perhaps it may sound stupid but try to avoid before it hits on you. Personally, i feel that this phrase is always relevant to all my 17 years on earth. Rather, more specially this years. On the surface, i may have seem to lose more. But the truth is otherwise. The gains includes, being captain of nyjc table tennis team, knowing many friends in njyc, understanding the importance of $ which instead cultivate a thrifty habit, owning the ideal phone( thats until now only because i have set my eyes on the iPHONE.), appreciating music ( was fortunate that i am able to catch a concert annually since 2004), shaping my hair into jay's type( i have been trying since secondary 4 and not giving up. its getting better recently.), persisting till the end of project work which cause me to be mentally stronger( some of u guys will know about this.), learning how to play pool and many others which i cant think of now. Some things are so minute in life but it place a certain level of importance to me. on the other hand, things that i lost includes the failure of my promos, not performing well in table tennis competition individually, wasting too much time slacking, chit chatting and daydreaming which really affected me a lot unknowingly and the list carry on. All in all, i seem to have gain more than i lose. but of course some things which cant be lose are lost. Haiz...

3rd. Had a conversation with Mdm Lee( my maths tuition teacher during sec4) about 3weeks back. I dont know why i always get this weird feeling talking to her. Its a feeling that i always believe what she says. Frankly, i respect her a lot, she seems to be my savior, my guardian and ... I still remembered what mdm lee said over the phone : ` 听说你最近遇到一些挫折, 但是不要放弃。老天爷都会惩罚每个人。问题是他几时想惩罚你而已。你现在17岁而已，还有很多时间。把这次的教训当成一个你永远不会再犯的错误。。。` 当时的我真的很想大哭一场。几句话就能弄我哭，我真的觉得mdm lee 太了解我了。她还说了一句 ` lao2 ji2 shen1 gu3 bla bla bla bla` 但是，我完全听不进去因为忙着找tissue。还记得大约六个月前，我与yu chuan 去探访mdm lee。那时我没设么说话，偶尔点点头，喝坐上的饮料。我们三人一聊就大概四个钟头，我和yuchuan也个人喝了两杯可了，哈。过后，我们与mdm lee 告别准备回家。就在我们穿鞋之后，我也忘了我说了设么，我们又开始聊起来。这次就聊了大约1个钟头。但是比起之前的环境，仿佛有巨大的改变。在那期间，我看到mdm lee 的另外一面，她家庭，她的一身等等。那也是我第一次看到mdm lee 哭。当时的我控制不了自己，也落泪了。此外，包里的tissue也湿透了。那时，天上乌云密布， mdm lee继续说下去，我的泪也继续流下去。你可想象当时的环境吧。那天，我从mdmlee那里学到一些东西，得到一些启发。如果想知道当时的一切，就去问当时在场的yuchuan吧，哈。经过这一切，我才真的了解yuchuan 说的 ` u can some in life, u lose some in life`. 看来我把三个星期前的事拖到半年前去有点no-link. 但我想说的是我真的很幸福能认识yuchuan与mdm lee. 我想我该快点结束不然你们都快zzz le。有一句话我永远不会忘记，也是给我推动力活下去，奋斗下去，坚持下去。它也就是mdmlee在电话中说的一句`royston, 不要放弃。 mdm lee相信你以后会是一个很有用的人`。虽然有些人会觉得意思浅浅。但我相信mdm lee, 因为mdm lee也相信我。

oh man, i am experiencing vision blurness after all the chinese typing. Five more minutes before it strikes 6pm. It also means 6 hours more before its 2008. i shall carry on a little while more before setting off to meet them( 405 peeps) at marina.

All these years, i have been pondered by this question. `What you aspire to be when u grow up?` If one aspire to be doctor/lawyer, will he be at least better off than the majority later in life? If one just wana lead a simple life in the rural area, does it mean he is deemed the lower class later in life? Of course, its good to dream big, have great aspirations so as to maneuver one to do well in life. But sometimes, things aren’t going smoothly. Of course its great being a lawyer/doctor.., who doesn’t want it when the pay fills one's pocket fully. On the other hand, ppl who doesn’t have big dreams, or rather the realistic ppl who rather take one step at a time, are they those who will not succeed in life? i understand i am being random in this paragraph, but this is wat i always thing when i daydream, ha. i detest studying but i have no choice since i am living in Singapore. i feel that besides studying, there are many things to learn in life. I admit my studies in no where near my brother or sister, but i am glad that i learnt some skills in life which will come in handy in the future. I have also seen hows the feeling of being betrayed（not those kid kid kind), corrupted organizations bla bla bla.

Ok, New Year aspirations yea? 1. Stay fit and healthy. 2 Do well in studies. 3. Play well in table tennis. 4. Make new friends. 5. Understand what life is all about. that shld be it, maybe more but cant think of right now.

O M G. the iPhone is really amazing. a device which rule them all; music, call, e mail, internet and many more. its doesnt come cheap at US$399 at 8GB storage. besides that monthly subscription is call cheapest US$60. it really doesnt come cheap at all. ok, back to blogging. but wats there to blog? life is still the same. spend most of my time revising, trng table tennis, sleeping, updating myself on chinese entertainment news, cathing up with friends.

shall talk a little on MONEY. it does not belong to everyone, but we cant live without it too. so, is $ a want or need? i think is how one look at it. at this point of time, $ is not the most important material in life. personally, i dun really like to spend money. i have seen how ppl spend and i am really taken aback. moreover, these ppl are my kins. hiaz, wat can i say? have been saying since secondary 3. every month, save and save. for months, and slowly yrs. the amt increases. somehow, when i save 100, i will aim for 200 and so on... but i duno y i dun spend them. these days, i have been asking myself shld i carry on saving cause i arent using them at all. perhaps i am differnt for the mass. i am very thrifty. maybe, currently i have most of the things i want in life; a comfortable home, food, clothing... thus i dun see the need to spend $. ppl may think i am fortunate. but i dun really feel gd. in the past, my parents only look at grades and reward my siblings and i accordingly. however, my brother and sister surpass me in almost every aspects of life. their rewards were great too. all i could do was being jealous. but it cant be help. everyone is different. lucky things got diff. at least i plan for myself. hopefully my savings will be put into good use someday. and when i justt a bit more, i will feel very gulity. ah!

and its december again. am gng of to malaysia in 30 mins times. however, i dun seem to look forward to this short trip. the only reason i can think of is the place where i will be staying has always been my ideal dream place, perhaps its too luxurious.

have been catching up on my work this holiday. it seems to pay off. but i am still behind schedule. gona work faster when i am back.

table tennis is still part of my life. but i cant seem to reach my peak days in secondary. on the other side, my sis is improving by leaps and bonds over the months.

went sentosa for secondary school gathering. rather a mini gathering as only a handful went. nevertheless, we had a great time.

met yu chuan at vivo. had a quick lunch be4 heading to pawalan beach by tram. we took some time finding the correct beach, ha. as we strolled along the beach, we were looking out for our classmates. within a twinkling, spotted benedict, and went towards his direction where the rest were too.

joined them for captian's ball. yea, my grp thrashed the other grp with a score of like 8-2? lol later the rest went down the sea while i joined the minority chatting on the burning beach. wth man, the sun was freaking scorching!

later on, sat under the shade and started reading my `jay chou` book. was having a great time reading as the conditon was perfect. resting flat on the bach and enjoying the sky scenery was way too cool.

was concentrating on my book so much that i didnt know someone was calling me, but of course not by my name. it was a random girl asking to help take pic. i was caught of guard. later i realised they were also peeps from nanyangjc too. obviously i accepted their request.

arnd 6, we left for dinner at vivo. and i left first. thats all for today.

am back. after like 3 weeks?

promos ended. my results will prove everything. nothing much to comment about it.

while studying for promos, i realise something. my way of studying have always been wrong. i knew it since that day when my brother told me off. i am not angered by him, but rather felt that it was a great blow to me. no wonder i am so different from my brother and sister.

好了，现在聊别的事吧。现在必须准备月底的a level chi and pw. 所以我于华文来blog. 可能每个星期写一篇作文吧。除了这些，我想学弹钢琴。但找不到朋友交。不如学吉他也好。在友好友，禄，的教导下，肯定会有成绩的。还有，好久没跟禄写歌了。这次假期，我们一定要有收获。此外，我得开始回去健身房了。不知多久没炼身体了，体能越来越差，最进常不舒服等等。有机会的话，可能想回家乡，厦门或者能去我心目中的`家`。累了，快要倒了。zzz

caught `the secrets` like after weeks since its release. its really one of the best movie ever. there was laughter and joy. there was sadness and sorrow. very few movies really touched my heart. till the extent i cried, sobs.

last weekend stayed over at lucas hse. cause the next day had cip at pasir ris. had a `great` time there man. ask those guys especially gary and jie huang. ha kia liang and i were the innocent kids. the walk was damn tiring as the whole process was very slow. after tat lunched be4 heading home.

o ya, not to forget, during assembly last week. there was a talk on personal image and how to present oneself in front of public. o man, the speaker, melissa yeo, was damn freaking cool. love her style and way of speaking. literature ppl really catch my attention man.

ok, enough of crapping. gota pia all the way till promos. argh!!! STUDY STUDY STUDY. everything else aside. anyway, shld i get a new hairstyle or keep the current one? lol. those who know me well will know that its indeed extremely to me! lol

Argh! at last these 2 weeks have past. all the TESTs are over. but the results...haha. nevertheless, am gona continue to Fight On for promos! cant really rmd wat happen these 2 weeks cause my memeory have been failing me. shall just blog about ytd ba.

The day started off with chem spa. shldnt be a problem cause made the effort to study and memorize. the lame thing is that i made full use of the 1 hr and 20 mins while most of my friends were done in abt an hr. next up is chem lec, on organic chem. shld be ok ba. after lec, had a filling breakfast of lor meeS together with 0707 peeps. not to forget our 8PM session! when the bell goes, left for phy spa. got back our test paper instead. my grades...HAIZ. when mr pun let us off, 07 guys went to pull the irons bars before luncheon. d last lesson of the day was chinese. i find its kind of waste of time cause mr tan use 1.5 hrs to go through the compo test. yep, and kinda satisfied with my results as compared to other mates. after chi, did some wk while waiting for jie huang to return from his usual running. went to gym with him later. O MAN, its great gyming with jie huang cause he really pushed me to my limits or rather exceeding my limits. ha. not to forget our deal(the perfect body) ya? left sch to buy MILK which jie huang said its gd to drink after gyming. ha . at last, went to join Dagonets for night study in sch, in a classroom on the forth level. haiz, always so few guys. duno wats wrong with them . anyway had a great time with them. was chatting most of the time. seeing them reminds me of LTC days where we had joy and fun together... seeing ya ying and shi pei together never fails to remind me of a word. its DEMURE.lol. go see for yrself and u will know. yi long kinda quiet and he's busy with student coucil things too. jasper seems to be so free and crappy, ha. hwee li reminds me of soccer. lol, i was kinda shocked when she told me she is in soccer some time back. xin ying was there too, didnt really chat with her till gng home. guess wat, she takes 4H2. isnt that pro. jingyi is always so kind, delivering food up for us, bought sweets and gave me a personalized plastic file. a million thanks to her. not to forget yanyu. thanks for helping me with chinese. u shd know how lousy i am now ba. we have several similar traits too yea? wendy , wai kwan and another girl joined us too. We studied till abt 10 plus before heading home. again, there was much laughter and joy along the way out of school. jasper and shi pei seems to click well yea? ha. jk. In a nutshell, that night was fabulous with great peeps arnd. looking forward to next night study with Dagonets again!

How long shld one wait? There are abundant opportunities out there. But still i cant seem to let go. Am i being fair to myself or others? Am i making the right decision? ARGH!!! I think i will still not give up. A glimpse of hope, a channel to start off will be good enough. Hope time will prove and reveal everything.

Many a times, i encourage my frienda and cca mates not to give up and stuff... but i cant seem to motivate myself. personally, i keep things to myself and dont really reveal my true feelings. is that gd?. i duno. perhaps thats just me.

Anyway its time to study. Mug hard ppl and stay healthy!( hit the gym, ha)

weekdays passed. weekends approaching.

was sleeping less than 5 hrs for the past few days. that explains y i am so tired in sch. no longer like before, gng high, singing high pitch songs by jay or leehom or dancing 盖世英雄. also closing my eyes whenever i can. so very sry if i accidently dao or diao anyone. ppl say i am guilty of that though i arent aware of it. ok, enough of crapping.

studies first. have been staying back in sch to mug. found out that i am actually lagging behind far too much. yea, at least i am doing something with my lousy results. i am gng at this rate or even faster till promos which is 51 daya away.

cca- table tennis. personally, i think i am not a good leader. but ppl r thinking otherwise. anyway, i am sorry to all my teamates for my `behaviour` on wed sharing session. sorry. thinking back, i was not aware of my own actions and words. perhaps it was due to accumulating stress, sch wk... that i was being possessed. having been leader for yrs, i think i have grown and matured mentally, physically and spiritually. but despite all the experience, i still... ... haiz. i promised i will be a better leader in time to come.

personal. have been ill these days, getting from bad to worst. cough and flu. my nose is giving me freaking lots of unnecessary problems. damn it! have not been hitting the gym room though, think will get weaker liaoz. yea, and at this rate i will lose my deal with jie huang yea.

family. sis's back from korea. thats great. 10 days without her is really hell man. the feeling is totally diff without any1 of my family ppl. sadly, grandpa got admitted to hospital. think its abt implanting a metal or something into his leg that fetch a high price. wth man. just hope grandpa will be in gd health.

music. yea, as usual i cant live without chi songs. have been listeing to several new songs. o ya during phy prac on fri, lucas sang a song which brought back memories of my pri sch days. i was stonning for minutes, reminising abt the past. music really plays a great part in my life, every junction of my life will be represented by a song. surprisingly, the song lucas sang is an english song name `we will get there`.
making a decision is not easy. working towards one's aim is challenging and difficult. persisting is similar to taking a risk. giving up is ?. wat do u think?
when i make a decison, i must be sure i am at least 50% confident abt it be4 working towards my aim. but i am wrong this time round. perhaps i am really a nood in that field. perhaps its my first time. perhaps i have no backing. frankly, i am at a lost. i am disappointed and ashamed with myself. But i arent giving up though. since i chose this route, i shall end it beautifully or at least satisfactorily.

life sucks.

this week is full of mixed feelings, all sorts. have been feeling rather down these days. have lots of things to blog but just cant type them down. i seems to detest my hse. its no longer my home. dad and mum working, bro in army, sis in korean for asian games. pratically theres no one at home. so i chose to stay in sch till night instead.
had parent teacher meeting today. dad was kind of late or early. i also duno cause he kept changing the time. cant blame him too cause he was working on an offshore island. think my dad had a good chat with mr leong and ms ong. yea, i know my results sucks and also table tennis stuff. gota do much beta in studies. its all abt TIME MANAGEMENT. i am gona start afresh from NOW onwards. not gng to lead my carefree lifestyle, hack care attitude anymore.
nth gd seem to happen to me these days. not performing well in studies. arent playing my norm standard for table tennis... get irritated easily...get bitched by mum etc.
perhaps i shld just reach for my dream now. go to a rural area, enjoy life by the countryside, fishing, feel the sea breeze, chatting with close friends...more and more. just a simple and pleasant life. no worries, no stress, no work. isnt that great? haiz, but i cant simply acheive that now. i am stuck in a 进退两难 state.
however, there are still peeps from ny that brighten up my day. especially my class peeps. yea, i know u guys are there for me. i wun let u pp down. but maybe one aspect le ba?. i know i always say i will. but in the end..its always `tomorrow`. haiz, wth man. its just not me at all. perhaps its just the different feeling towards one.
anyway, gota mention about jay. his coming singapore to promote his latest movie `secrets`on 30 july. 7 pm at the cathay beside dhoby ghaut. 31 july at st james(dragonfly) 1pm. yea. so those jay fanz out there go support yea. think i cant make it this time arnd. cause of all the shitty reasons.

am back. by right i shld be back to blog ytd after the previous post. but by left, i am back the next day which is today. get what i meant?. ok, nvm, am trying to be lame here.
there are so many things i wana blog abt. but i dun have to time to type everything out. argh!
anyway today is the worst day ever in nyjc. the most frightening and horrifying day ever. i got a SUU for 3 h2 subs. i really feel like tieing myself to kites and summon lightning at the rooftop and...DIE. friends were saying i am not behaving normally today. yea its true, with such results wat else can i think of but emo-ing all day.
BUT, i arent letting this mid year affect me forever. i gona find my errors and fight all the way till promos. arent going to waste d 2nd half yr anymore. no more kidding, slacking, playing... i cant afford to lose the next battle. thus i gota spend more time with my subjects and of couse there are sacrifices to be made. haiz, looks like i cant get any further from where i was since then. perhaps its beta like this? i duno. and there's still table tennis and guitar for me to get along with tough.

took gp paper in the mrng. after gp, kia liang and i were busy finding our classmates. they seemed to be missing. blamed and scolded kl like no one's business. ha hope he forget it by now. anyway, sry. later, was lead into canteen where my class, 0707, celebrated my birthday. love the creamy cake and the nice bottle. thanks ppl. shortly after, my table tennis mates came to find me and asked me out to celebrate. but i could not ps 0707 peeps. in the end, had luncheon with tt mates at amk hub de fish and co before proceeding to the nearby kbox to sing with 0707 ppl. half way through, my gang came back to find me and passed me d present, yea nice t shirt, thanks. after k-ing, some girls went off to fort canning to catch a drama play while the rest of us shopped in amk hub be4 gng home. took a short nap be4 gng out with family. they took me to a restaurant which i totally detest! the place is too `ching` duno if i get the spelling correct. goto ask kia liang. its filled with china ppl, speaking `chinglish`. but actually its rather ok for me. i just cant take the food. too diff from local taste. o ya, we saw mark lee there too. ha. went home and slept.

28may
went back sch for maths lec. kind of boring as i dun understand a single shit! but no choice. in the aft, met up with tt ppl at vivo be4 hearding to st james power station. ok, in short, i dun like that sort of place. not my kind. i wld prefer hanging out at the beach with several friends and crap whole day or renting a boat out to fish yea. anyway, upon entering a pub known as `dragonfly` in st james ps, my friends and i found went lose and wild. ha dun get the wrng idea. had some fun at the dance floor with kai xian. ha. shorty after, went to the back seats to rest as i started to feel giddy and uncomfortable. had a couple of drinks and chatted with friends till time to go. took cca pics be4 having dinner at vivo. rushed to kbox at cine to celebrate cousin's birthday. wenbin, stella, dylis and qi qi were there too since later afternoon. after k-ing, took neos be4 gng home.

29may
phy and maths lec in the mrng followed by econs tutorial. had western lunch at central with friends be4 gng back sch for tt trng. as usual, i still love trng. after that, went gyming with kenneth and arron. wow, i love it man. its too 'shiok'. ran 2 rounds and bused home.

30 may
went to sch for chem consultation with lucas till abt 12 plus. had western lunch again and bused to toa payoh safra for tt trng with arron. wth man, only 3 guys turned up for trng. haiz. after trng, shopped arnd toa payoh area to get tt stuff. managed to get it and trained home. dined out with family.

31 may
yea man, finally can take a gd rest at home. nth much for the whole day. erm, or rather i cant rmd what i did or where i gone to. at least i did some wk. ha

1 june
as usual went to sch again. abt 2plus, went to find pw teacher. was keeping my fingers crossed that everything is alright as our wk has been rejected abt 5 times! damn it. in the end, still gota to redo. several areas to improve on. haiz. abt 3 plus left sch. took 105 to toa payoh and changed to 31 all the way to chinese swimming club somewhere in tanjong katong or east cost area. the ride was freaking long man. missed the bus stop and was brought all the way to parkway. wth! finally found csc. yep, my purpose there was to support my sis as she got into finals for 2 category- under 15 and womens singles. all i can say to my sis, u are just too fabulous. double champ and pocketed away $500 plus and 2 trophies right? ha think no more place at home to display yr acheivements liaoz. had buffet at csc later be4 gng home. was supposed to meet up over msn for pw wk. but think i slept half way while waiting...

mins to midnight. here i am blogging. tmr got to seat for gp paper. haiz. y must it be on 26 may. damn it man! am just gng to face it and do me best

over the past one week or so, life in jc sucks for me. personally i suck. recevied my test results and bascially most were `u`. i totally lost all motivation to study, to... but fortuantely, one thing cheered me up. have been elected as the new table tennis captain along with jun yi as vice-captain. other positions still under pending.

seriously, i shld not waste any more time. i have wasted almost half a year slacking arnd sch and sleeping away at home. gona chiong all the way during june vacations for studies and perhaps cca.

yea, i know my friends are there. there helping me. but i have time and again let myself down. wth man. frankly speaking, i am at a lost. i duno how to approach you. perhaps i am afraid of rejection. perhaps i have no balls. perhaps i am too shy. perhaps....but who cares. i only know i just got to follow my heart and things will go on. hopefully

this week round, wana introduce several songs. first on the list will be 淘汰 by eason chan, written and composed by 周杰伦。 for these while, i detest eason's style of singing and obviously his songs. but this song, 淘汰, totally changed my perception of eason. the lyrics of the song is meaningful, i just experienced the `feel` upon listening to the song. next up on the list is 'katrina` by david tao. its an old song. nevertheless, i still love it. ha i am at a lost of words cause am gng fall asleep very soon. bascially i am impressed with the lyrics and found it relevant. it goes something like ` katrina, i cant stop looking at yr eyes. but my words dont coe out straight i dont no wat to say. ` and it goes on like a story from monday all the way to friday. yea check it out man.

its been another week again.

Table Tennis
the season is over. nyjc tt team clinched the 2nd position. great achievement man. not to forget the swenens treat by mr leong and ms sim. think their pocket was greatly `burnt', ha. coming up will be the election for the next batch of exco. of course i am fighting for a post. ha. but how will things go? how will the result be like?. all will be reveal this coming thu ba, hopefully. rest for 1 week after competition and trng as usual again. has been looking forward to trng. duno y too, perhaps its because of passion. or rather, table tennis is part of me, like wat danielle mentioned. i tried giving up table tennis and pursue other sports. but my inner self held me back. true enough, table tennis taught me a lot. to be a better person, controlling my temper, interacting with ppl... ... o, just rmd. finally get to play tt with my sis after several mnths. although i lost, like it has always been so, playing with my sis is very diff from other ppl. in short, she's just like an undefeatable machine. ha. argh, i have the urge of saying something. damn it! the situation in nytt is similar to the movie 无间道 ( infernal affairs). y must things behave this way? wouldnt it be beta if there is peace, love, care and concern?

School
slowly, i am catching up with sch wk. however am still failing all my tests. to be exact, they are all `u` grade. the worst one can get. getting stressed up by sch stuff. haiz, thinking back, did i make the right choice by choosing the jc route? but i arent giving up. all i need is to be discipline and focus. and also david tao's music to cure my headache. ha. o... wth, gp paper is on the day of my birthday! 26 may. damn it! think nyjc have already given me a big birthday present. napfa test coming up next week. will i achieve my aim (perfect score)? quite unlikely cause running itself is a great obstacle. have been trng for 2 weeks. hope can get at least a c grade for running.

Family
haiz, am not too sure y i have been ignoring my family these few days. sometimes i just find them too irritating and plugging on the headsets will be the best way out. thinking back, i find myself a loser. cant achieve much in life. although ppl keep saying dun compare with yr siblings and stuff, can u accept that? in fact, they are just trying to console me. somehow or rather, i feel that my siblings life seems to be well planned, so perfect. my bro's journey to Us in the states are all provided for by companies like, lta, cas, cass. wat else could he ask for? at most its gic or psa, not too sure abt that. as for me, i would be fortunate if i could make it into local U. lastly, i am proud to be a part of `look` and `leow` family. duno y, its just this way.

i am uncertain if i shld continue typing. but i think i shld since blogging is a method of relieving myslef, to let things out, let one's worries and troubles be heard.
i am in a dilemma. to me, i think that ppl r giving u the wrong idea. is it because of it that we are experiencing this weird feeling? all this while, my friends have been teasing me and stuff. i am alright with that, but r u? i just want to be friends with u and get to know u better. i try not to interact with u much in sch least my bunch of friends start all their `things` again. i know they are trying to help me, but thats not the way how things shld be. i wonder how u r thinking abt it? lu told me ' its either now or never' . its true provided thats the way u think so. or i have been thinking too much. it u think so, then discard this paragraph.

Music. ha, music tells much about someone. dun u agree with that? wat can u dedue abt someone who listens mainly to chi pop music and a minute % of enlgish songs? ha. thats me. this first half yr, there isnt any great ablums. rather cmi albums and shitty songs. however the second half yr will be diff. to all those chi pop lovers, keep a look out for wang lee hom, lin jun jie and zhou jie lun's new album. i suppose jj's album will be out arnd june-july. not too sure abt lee hom. but heard that it will be arnd june to august. as for jay, it will be during the last quarter of the yr. o. not to forget david tao. like sadly, he takes ages to release a album. but the longer he takes, the better music produced. its direct proportion. believe his new ablum will be during the 2nd half of 2008. ha so all i can do now is to wait. WAIT.

everyone is busy. everyone has their own life. dad and mum busy making $. ha bro is in army, tink his doing fine yea. think 4 out of 5 uni in states accepted him. moreover, he got a scholarship from LTA. sis is doing well in studies and sports too. wat abt me? haiz. my studies sucks totally. dun understand a single shit. have been seeing stars duing chem and phy tutorials. have not been doing wk. instead, have been trng for long hrs with my teamates over the weeks for compeition. physically i am tired. mentally i am dead. y am i so diff from my siblings? they excell in watever they do. o yea, my `professional counsellor` told me that i could be an accident. wth man. think his one ba.

Table Tennis
nanyang table tennis boys team did it! gng against the odds,we defeated last yr 2nd runner up, national jc(3-2), to gain entry into top 4 position. to add on, we went on fighting all the way with last yr 1st runner up, hwa chong, and won them with a score of 3-1!. currently, ny team have booked a place in the finals along with raffles jc. the winner will be determined tmr 27 april at top payoh sports hall 2pm. so please come and support man.

tt trng in sch. paired with jun yi for doubles. nth much for the day.

13 march
went back to xms for tt camp in the mrng. but just joined them for trng and games such at floorball and lanning be4 leaving for home.

14 march
tt trng in sch. rushed home and changed. left for marina bay to meet odac peeps. went to a open field at marina area to fly kite. ha, it was a ideal place to relaz man. cool and beautiful scenery. did not join them for steamboat dinner. instead, chiong back to xms for the tt camp bbq. there was plenty of food. ranging from beehoon, fried rice....to chicken wings, sausages and many many more. think there was more than enough to feed the whole tt team. other graduated tt mates joined too. at abt 8, took bus to `chomp chomp` area to find benedict and company. went to k garden to celebrate benedict birthday. was very low and tired thus didnt really sing. perhaps it was due to the long hrs of tt trng.

15 march
first day of level camp in ny. it was a dreary mrng. saw many new faces joining the ny family. we were splited into diff houses and i happen to be in phoenix. red!. ha. o yea, and spotted hk. really a extraordinary gal. plyed the conquest and matrix in the afternoon. it was real fun. knew almost all the boys in my class. but no the girls yet. after camp, joined my pae class for dinner at j8.

16 march
my jae class peeps pon the mrng part of the level camp. we had lunch at j8 be4 gng back to sch for the amazing race. all i could rmd was i was crippled with lucus. omg, we really had a `great` time moving arnd the sch. ha. and many funny thing happened. after the camp, met with with several xms peeps in ny and left for mr pah's hse for bbq. think abt 3/4 of 405 turned up. not too bad though. ha. had a great time eating and catching up with 4-05 ers.

17 march
had tt trng in the mrng. after trng, left with teamates for western lunch. chat and crapped before its time to go home

18 march
tt trng in xms with `lu`. went fot lunch at hougang pnt. asked arnd for phone price. had been eyeing either k800i or n73 for some time le. ha. hope can get it. left for compass pnt and met with with og21 peeps to give wee siong a suprise birthday party. rather a mini celebration for him. in the evening, left for bugis with sis. bought her belated clothes and bag. and i became broke after that. damn it. haiz

19 march
slacking sch day. had tt trng as toa payoh safra. that place really sucks. cant train well. the environment sucks to the core man. rmd that i paired with jun yi for doubles and performed pretty well.

20 march
attended several lectures. haly way through the day, went to tze hin hse to slack be4 heading back to sch for make up lectures.

21 march
another day in sch. had trng after lessons.

22 march
again, had tt trng in sch. argh, always trng. no choice. competition round the corner. its just next week.

23 march
had pw and cca talk in sch. omg pw is gona be a real obstacle for most of us man. ha. so much stuff to do such that it cover over 28 weeks till early nov. later in the day, had tt trng at home.

24 march
met ny tt mates at yck mrt. proceeded to ajc for friendly match. but am proud to say aj is just no where near ny. our odds of winning them is 8:2. perhaps its the hard wk and trngs that paid off. won all my match with consist of 3 singles and 2 doubles. left for gym and home.

3rd march
had dinner at cartel in plaza sing. the main purpose was to celebrate the success of my bro's excellent A levels results. he scored straigh As and distinctions for 2 S papers and gp. wth, how i wish i could do as well as him. grandmother, aunt and cousin joined us for dinner too. o yea, met janet there too, she was working. after dinner, shopped arnd before heading home.

4th march
`lu` was sick so tt session was cancelled. went to two temple in the mrng with family. did the usual praying and stuff. later in the afternoon, went to sim lim square with dad. shop arnd and got a ear piece for my shuffle.

5th march
its the last breakfast with og21. we did not really eat much food but rather chatted and chatted. had gift exchange with one another. lin rong was busy video taking. be4 we knew, it was 9am and we headed back to sch for lessons. had gp lecture. fortunately it was movie time, ha. think the show was ` tuesday with mosses` ba. cant really rmd the title. later on, i ponned almost all tutorials and was slacking arnd in sch with some friends. at 2pm. og 21 ppl met outside lt4 and we got our og jacket. yea, its cool man. shortly after, we headed off to bishan for singing at party world. met lydia on the way and took a photo with her as requested. ha. ashley, vincent , john and wee siong joined us for singing later on. we really had a great time singing. or shld i say screaming and yelling into the microphone. at abt 7pm, we left for dinner. It will be the last dinner with og 21 as some of us are gng separate ways le. initially everyone was quiet and sad. but later when linrong started telling his cold jokes and stories, everything changed. laughters could be heard. smiles could be seen.... there was a drastic change in the atmosphere. i left slightly earlier as mum was waiting for me liaoz..

6th march
many ppl are looking forward to this day. the release of posting results. however, i was not at all nervous, excited or sad. my fate was sealed when i signed the dsa form last june. most j1 will be in sch except for ny ppl as it was day off for us. msg my buddy, `lu`. but he did not reply me. feeling sianz, left for gym. half way exercising, received a msg from `lu`. he did not make it to national jc. felt sad for `lu` as it has always been his goal to get into njc and he really worked hard for it. accompanied `lu` to njc to settle his appeal form. hope he can really make it to nj. later on, when to j8 jean yip to find mum.

7th march
its orientation 2. am in tribe 22. as usual, the principal quek gave a formal talk. followed by subjects combi and stuff. sianz, was bored manz. luckily, my new `neighbours` were nice and chatty ppl, ha. after lunch, there was cca bazzar. unfortuantely, saw my captain and gota go for table tennis trng. sianz, but no choice. after trng, met odac friends near the canteen. there was a mini odac pizza dinner. the main motive was to present the j2s with the pink towels made by the j1s. played some games and slack a while be4 gng home.

8, 9th march
orientation 2. felt that it was not as fun as orientation 1. tribe 22 ppl were not as high as og21. just get the sianz feeling whatever i do and wherever i go. perhaps the remarkable thing abt ny orientation was pizza nigh and disco night. again, o2 disco night was not as fun as o1. the choice of music was not high enough. and my tribe ppl were missing when the light were swtiched off in the hall. wth. in the end, joined my og 21 friends.

10 march
its a special day. happy birthday sister. had difficulties waking up in the mrng for trng when i had enjoyed and was worn out by disco night the previous day. reach sch at 8.30 for tt trng till 12. many ppl were late, they were sleepy too. ha. o, and i met marcus. he was my sec 1 sch mate in maris stella high. hope his appeal will be successful. after trng, had western luch with tt mates at serangoon central. we were devouring the chicken cutlet like no ones business as were we damn freaking hungry. took bus home and headed for gym.

11 march
very sry `lu`. tt trng was cancelled as i gota go temple with family. its a MUST go so no choice. haiz. slack the whole afternoon be4 gng to grandparents hse for dinner. left for sunsports at kallang, some ulu ulu place. went to support my sister, she had table tennis competiton there. the place was much beta in terms on environment conditoins than the previous one at clementi. however, its quite diff to get there.

It has been quite some time since i last blog abt 2 weeks back. partly because i was ill last week. this yr's cny is more or less similar to previous yrs. the usual visits to elderly, relatives hses, friends place. and of course the `ang baos`. this yr earnings not too bad, ha. plan to get a new phone with the cash. not to forget, ny's cny celebration was....haiz. but it was fun with og mates arnd. ha. these 2 weeks in sch was quite boring, dead. perhaps i was sick too, no mood for most things. on top of that, i got a bad haircut. initially, the hair stylist assured me that he could meet my requirements. i even got a picture of the hair i wanted. in the end, it turned out...haiz. was crying in my heart man. as for `lu`, his hair was better than mine although he claimed his sucks too. think i can wait for 2 months will my next haircut cause its just too short. wtf!

11 feb
went back xms for trng with `lu`. had a quick lunch be4 rushing home to change and left for suntec. took quite some time to find my friends in the food court near the fountian of wealth. went back to suntec convectional hall to catch the last hr of diff courses talk held by ntu. it was not too bad. walk arnd suntec and accompany wee sioong to vivo. his sec sch friend, yan xin, joined us too. went to several shops to scout for clothes, shoes ...in the end, wee siong manage to buy his stuff.

12 feb
was first to reach somerset mrt station. the rest were late, haiz.ha. met wen bin with his friends. so coincident they also gng to cine, kbox. had a great time singing with my dear friends of og21, mabel, wanyin, danielle and wee siong. after that, went to plaza sing to meet ashley. met dylis and friends along the way. went to arcade and played the basketball game. omg, wee siong really pro man. had lunch at the food court and like always, ate the riverside indonesian food. walk arnd be4 gng back to ny for t t trng. o yea, finally i am getting back the `feel`. am not gona lose ya anymore man. ha

after sch, went to bishan with og friends, danielle, perrine, tze hin, lin rong. went to take neo before the guys and girls went separate ways to search for vday gifts. haiz, we (the boys) took a damn long time to search for gifts man. manage to leave only arnd 6 while the girls left abt an hr or so be4 us.

14 feb
yea, its v day. sadly cant go out with u ppl cause of trng. did not pon like wat many others did. perhaps its the passion for it ba. had mst till abt5. and after i got change and hyper for trng, i was told that trng cancelled, change to gym. wtf, i really to whack those balls and now tell me to go pull the metal bars. wth man. initially wanted to leave at 6 but went on longer plus running at track with arron and kenneth. while cooling down in canteen, met `fu`. ha, quite surprise to see him at such hr. chatted with him before gng off for dinner with family.

15 fed
was not feeling well at all. after sch, folded crane with og friends. it was mentioned that one crane could be exchange for 1 bowl of rice. folded for quite some time be4 gng for lunch with og mates somewhere nearby sch. slack and chat for an hr be gng home. and it was sleeping time for me till dinner at 10pm.ha

16 feb
had og outing at marina bay. ate at the food court. bought from the stall where the uncle always do the thumbs up sign. think `lu` will know wat i am referring to. went to arcade and met gabriel there. played datona usa with lin rong and wee siong and i came in champ. ha. later went over to pool. omg, i suck man. met claron there too. think he was with his sec sch friends ba. left at arnd 6.

17 feb
had reunion dinner at grandparents hse. it was just like the year before. and several years before. not much diff. left home arnd 10 plus and help mum with cny stuff. think the next few days gona be fun cause collecting ang baoz man. yea and visit some friends and relatives for only once a year.

had luncheon with og at the coffee shop opposite zhonghua sec during common lunch break. be4 proceeding, we took og photo although not all were present. our ogls were with us too and cally bought ferrero rocher for us. after lunch, my og decided to make og jacket instead of tee. heading back to sch, we started playing soccer and basketball.

its the day that will determine our future in one way or another. it may affect one's life. one's choice. one's dream.one's destiny. we cant alter the results as our fate was sealed last november when we penned everything in our scripts. my results were not ideal. especially my eng and a maths. argh! and i think i did quite badly comparing with my sch mates. most all them were scored single digit. my sec sch (Xinmin) produced even better results this yr with 100% eligible for junior college. there was 99% distinction for c sci, 95% distinction for e maths and 91 % distinction for a maths....cant rmd le. but my results just sucks. shld be able to get into nyjc after cca bonus. went to `lu` hse and slack be4 heading to nyjc to catch `the one`. was slightly late. very sry to those waiting for me to get the tickets. pai seh. it was fabulous man. of course with 1st runner up from project superstar, nat, coming back and performing 2 songs. later, went back to `lu` hse for dinner. omg, her mum's `ba kut teh` is damn delicious.

10feb

woke up slighty earlier be4 li ling's mrng call. left for odac 2gether to toa payoh mrt. we are trng for the 66 storeys vertical marathon thus the best place would be the 40 storeys hdb flats at toa payoh. we had to climb the stairs all the way till 40th floor. omg, and its 6 sets man. but i managed to survive. unbelievable man. o yea, the j1 performed the mass dance after the trng at the hdb corridors and ppl were looking at us with that ` wats gng on` look. damn ma lu man. bought `tao hui` and left to fork and spoon for lunch be4 heading home in separate directions

all in all, i am disappointed with my results. and i am performing poorly in table tennis. wats gng on. hope the MST session will get me back on track.

its yet another week again. as usual, many things happened and i am too lazy to blog them down in details. rmd that i performed poorly for my tt competitions. haiz, y?. o yea, not to forget, my og celebrated danilelle's birthday and my ct celebrated jia jie, guo wei and joyce birthday together.
